The UD sheet is made of UHMWPE Fiber Yarn. This product is consisted of two unidirectional arranged fiber webs which overlapped by 90 degrees each other and laminated with special matrix materials by certain technology. And the outward appearance is white textile fiber thin slice. UHMWPE UD fabric can be divided into soft sheet and hard sheet. Using UHMWPE UD fabric the minimum weight is needed for protection at different level, and it is not affected by water or sunlight and needs no special protection.

UHMWPE FABRIC:
Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber,also known as high strength and high modulus polyethylene fiber. It is made by molecular weight of 1000000-5000000 polyethylene which its specific strength is ten times more than steel and specific modulus is only less than super carbon fiber,It has good performance of high strength,high modulus,low elongation at break,impact resistance,cutting resistance,anti-ultraviolet radiation,chemical resistance,abrasion resistance and other characteristics.
It is made by 200D,400D,600D,800D,1000D,1500D,3000D UHMWPE fiber as material with weave style plain,twill and satin,Its application mainly including body armor,bulletproof helmet,light armor,sports equipment,ropes,cables,sails,filter,etc.
Typical Technical Properties:
1) After 1500 Sunshine hours, its remaining strength is more than 80%.
2) After 6 months in most chemicals (seawater, gas, etc), its remaining strength is 100%.
3) The UHMWPE ropes remaining strength is 100% after 1000 times loaded rotative test.
4) Its rotative times until break of Abrasion proof are more than 110 to 103.
5) Its rotative times until break of Winding proof are more than 240 to 103.
6) Its strength of annelation is 12 up to 18g/d. its 10 up to 15g/d for collusion.
7) Melting Point is around 135-145, Highly resistant to abrasion, cutting, tearing
8) Color is bright white and poor for dyeing.
